I spent 18 years away from Yarmouth , in NB, Toronto, Bermuda and
Florida-returned to Yarmouth in 1986-Presently working at NSCC teaching in the
COntinuing Care Program-love it!!

Information that I would like to share-
I became a cop, a corporate executive and an entrepeneur. I have lived
pretty much across Canada and travelled somewhat. Now I am a hobbyist noting
the cash flow is nowhere near as good but the free time is great. Highschool
was a terrific sports venue for me but in the end recreational and competitive
sailing stole the show. I picked up a few more necessary smarts at Carleton
University, U of Toronto and learned to fly small planes without loss of limb
partially through the Northern Institute of Applied Technology (NAIT) in
Edmonton and a little grass strip outside Calgary. I married late with no
children of my own but most often enjoy the challenges of raising 2 boys towards
finishing their schooling, a 3rd 'out there somewhere'(OTS), and the 'to do'
lists of my dear wife Rosalind. Life is good. Thank God for the dog!
Through a chance encounter I have enjoyed annual fishing/canoeing excursions in
Yarmouth County with old basketball team mate Chuck Smith and past neighbour,
Kevin Vickory. I am always thrilled to meet and hear about old acquaintances
and through all my travels have yet to come across an overall community of
people as collectively as interesting and inspiring as those I grew up with in
good ol' Yarmouth. I miss a certain creative influence by not being around my
good friend and accomplished artist Brian Porter enough and morn the loss
resulting from the untimely death of our ol'buddy Brian Amirault. Fortunately I
can still read the brillance of Harry Thurston and stay in touch with many more
of the dearest friends I have ever known. All thanks to YCMHS.
