Information that I would like to share-  From YCMHS iot was off to Radio/TV Broadcasting at Kingstec in Kentville.  Worked in the Valley at Annapolis Valley Radio (AVR), then to Fort McMurray, Alberta for 4, back to AVR, to Sydney as Operations Manager of 3 radio stations, then to Truro as Music Director at Cat Country in 2005.  Had 3 children, separated, and had 1 more with my partner (who has 1 of her own, so it's busy when all 5 kids are together!).  Dreaded hitting 40, but as my partner said on my birthday:  Suck it up!  I get back to Yarmouth to see my folks a couple times a year.

Favorite memory of high school-  Hanging out with the gang behind the stage, copying (oops, I mean catching up) on physics homework in the main lobby, volleyball and all the friends along the way.

Information that I would like to share-  Still close to home.  Surprised how many others are close by who I haven't seen since graduation.  After school, went to Burridge for Business Computer Programming, worked as secretary/bookkeeper for eleven years, then medical secretary for about eight more.  Are we really that old???  Have two boys (9 and 6) and have been married for fifteen years.  Life has been good so far :)  Still playing volleyball during the winter and coaching the boys in soccer during the summer.  Hope we can all get together for a 25 year reunion.  Seems to be coming fast.  Take care.

Favorite memory of high school-  Best part of high school is always the relationships that are formed.  Interesting that now, as we reach our 40s (gulp) there's seems a sudden desire to catch up with old friends....

Information that I would like to share-  Moved to Ontario from Nova Scotia 9 years ago when Blockbuster offerd me the postion of Regional Director, prior to that was District Manager for NS and NF. Was married for 12 years but have been seperated for two. Best times still spent at hockey practice (and games) with my awesome 5 year old boy (AKA..The Boy) With hockey twice a week, swimming once a week, and soccer around the corner, he keeps me very (very) busy!

Favorite memory of high school-  Working on 1983-84 yearbook with Rodney DeViller, worrying that we wouldn't have enough content for the book and discovering that we had way too much. Band practice and band trips. Mr. Sanford's magic act in chem class. Scaring Mr. Killam half to death in driver's ed.
Friends that I may be looking to reconnect with-  I've been lucky enough to actually keep in touch with a few friends and happy to re-connect with a few others. Always glad to touch base with former classmates and friends and compare notes.
Information that I would like to share-  Got my BSc in Physics from St.F.X. in 1988 and then an MSc from Waterloo in 1990. Started a PhD at UWO but dropped out to work full-time on a Canada-France satellite instrument. When the funding dried up for that, I was off to Baltimore, Maryland, for 3 years as a sys admin. At McGill since 2002, I'm working with a group studying severe storms in the Arctic. Went back to YCMHS a few times to talk to Mr. Killam's physics classes about being a "real, live physicist".

Information that I would like to share-  I actually dropped out of high school in grade 11, got married and had two kids...this didn't work out and I moved went to University and am now remarried with the two boys all grown up. I was fortunate enought to have a job right after my university graduation. I am now the manager of the business start-up center on the campus of the University of New Brunswick and just love my job.  A big thank you to Ms. Cathy Hayward (grade 10 homeroom) for your support and encourgement during my high school years.

Favorite memory of high school-  a party at Glenn Burnie's, Premier Players and the Snack Place on friday nights.  Mrs. Voutier keeping the whole class in one lunch time to tell us that we weren't prepared for university or life.  It really had an impact on me.

Favorite memory of high school-  I was thrown out of a variety show one time for tossing a role of toilet paper. I didn't bring it into the gym, but someone threw it in my direction and it landed at my feet. The crowd roared: "Throw it!," "Throw it!." Just as the role of toilet paper left my hand, I could feel a large hand on my shoulder. It was Mr. Churchill telling me to go to the office. I could never get away with anything and I still can't. I also remember hanging out in the back stairwell to the stage area with some of my friends. I also liked driving friends around in my blue jeep at lunch time. Dairy Queen was my favorite place to eat lunch in high school, but it was just about the only place to eat in those days. The students today have a lot more choices, but Dairy Queen still makes the "BEST" cheeseburgers! YUM!!!

Information that I would like to share-  After high school, I went to Saint Mary's University. I graduated in 1989 with a Bachelor of Commerce. I also attended Burridge Campus for a 1 year administrative assistant course, just to acquire some basic office skills. I have been employed as bookkeeper at Mountain Gap Inn, as a bank teller and as an administrative assistant for various businesses. I have been married for 15 years to Brent Jamieson, who is a vice principal at YCMHS. It's nice being able to work so close together. I have 2 terrific sons and many pets. I enjoy living in the country and am quite pleased with all of the recent business developments in Yarmouth. I hope it continues! I enjoy writing and have had a few articles published in various magazines. I continue to write and am always impressed when I receive the envelopes in the mail...as I wonder if they will be rejection letters or acceptance letters (with a cheque)!!! The cheques are always nice! I have been very fortunate.

Favorite memory of high school-  To be honest, when I was in High School, my "boyfriend-at-the-time" did not relish the fact that I might actually like to have fun, so I was not involved in many things that I should have been and for that, I regret deeply. I remember fun times in Mr. Sandfords Chemistry Class and the homeroom banter that I had with all the other people whose names fall last in the alphabet. Dean and David...I loved those Friday afternoon trips to the Valley! I remember being stood up at my Grad formal and I want to thank that person for giving me something to grow on!
Friends that I may be looking to reconnect with-  To be honest, I still keep in touch with many of the people I went to school with. The friendships, although few, that I did form, were lasting ones. I always wonder what happened to certain people, like, CHRIS VELDHOVEN! WHERE ARE YOU? LISA NICKERSON...WHERE ARE YOU? Everytime I put mushrooms on my pizza, I think of you, Lisa! It was sooooo very nice to hear from Lisa LeBlanc after my Dad passed suddenly. Lisa, you will never know how touched my family was about that. To Philip Lind...one of the worst mistakes I ever made was to break up with you! I wish you well from the bottom of my heart. Blair Sweeney...I FINALLY OWN MY OWN ERASER NOW! Although I am sure I still have several hundred of yours. Please, if you see my email addy....feel free!
Information that I would like to share-  The past several years have brought many changes in my life. I am now 40. But...SO ARE YOU GUYS! I am married (for the second time) to a man whos family hails from the province of Quebec I have 3 wonderful children. All tall blonde girls with blue eyes (God help me) who are all entering puberty within the next few years. I have lost one of the most influential and respected people in my life...my Dad. He is sadly missed. I live in a great neighborhood in town and I am enjoying the fact that my girls are growing up here as I lived deep in the woods of Carleton and always had to take that darn bus. We share our home with a rather large German Shepherd and 3 cats who permit us to live here. I love my job. Mr. Eldridge? Just so you know, you traumatized me for life by giving me a late slip on my 18th birthday and...I am still late for mostly everything I do! (But I am not proud of it anymore.)
