Information that I would like to share-  Wow, time sure does fly!  I will be celebrating my 15th wedding anniversary in June of this year (2006), imagine!!!  After a year in college I married Dwayne Allen and we have two beautiful daughters.  Brittany, 12yo and in jr. high (omg I can't believe it - just seems like yesterday that we were there!), and Taylor, 7yo and in grade 2.  We just built a new home in Carleton and are enjoying it very much, although we've lived in Carleton for many years.  Dwayne is currently employed with Scotia Garden Seafood and operates one of their Plants... I currently work at Carleton School as a PSA and Supervisor... I also work in the office when they are short-staffed.  It's a wonderful place to work, the staff and students are the best and I love being close to our youngest daughter!  I keep threatening our oldest that I'm going to supervise at her school..lol!  Life in general has been good for us, although we've had many, many tragedies over the last 15 years.  I guess that is what's made us who we are today.

Favorite memory of high school-  Where do you begin - there were so many fond memories of High School....Bennie Vaughn's "General Math down the hall" and his boneless chicken posters, throughing books out the window just to get out of class, when Jon Murphy broke the pipes, Johnny B in his red tuxedo (which he did wear to the 10 year reunion after a few alterations by his mother), national skip off day at Ellenwood, driving around all night on $5 bucks of gas (those days are over), various parties, Mr Langille's mock court and being the last grade 10 class to live in the Annex.
Friends that I may be looking to reconnect with-  Crystal LeBlanc, Ben MacIntosh, John Banks - what every happened to that guy?  Someone said he was working in the field of Safety?
Information that I would like to share-  After high school I attended MSVU in Halifax and received a BBA in management and accounting. During my summers and after I finished university I worked as a Customs Officer in Yarmouth.  I then decided to change careers and for the last ten years have been working with the NS Fisheries Sector Council.  We look after training and human resources for the fishery in Nova Scotia which can be interesting, challenging and exciting all rolled into one.  One thing I enjoy the most about this job is that I get to live in Yarmouth and be close to friends and family but also get to travel quite a bit throughout the province and Eastern Canada. I still enjoy connecting with a number of people I went to Arcadia School with like Jill, Ann, Val, Melanie, Tammy, Trilby, Stephanie "Go Lion's"  I think it's about time Arcadia School had a reunion - I'm sure we could get Cory to get out the boom box and strobe light! 20 year reunion in 2009!  Almost time to get the old 10 year planning committee up and running again.  Make sure to register for this site so we can easily track all of you class of 1989ers down.

Favorite memory of high school-  The grad prom and prom "party" is one of my most fondest memories.. boy that was a night! Thanks to the "host". We all thought that we knew everything back then and that we had a clear handle on our lives. Boy to know then what we know now!

Information that I would like to share-  My life took me in a good direction. I am married to Russ "Rusty" Smith and we both work for Michelin here in the valley. We have two beautiful kids, Jarrett, now 8 and Nina who is presently 6. After high school I graduated from Saint Mary's University and worked in banking for most of my career. I started at Michelin working in the quality department about 1 1/2 yrs ago. We love living in the valley, only 1 hr to Halifax and a little over 2 hrs to home (Yarmouth). We are close, but far enough away that family just can't pop in on a whim. It works for us!!

Favorite memory of high school-  A big thank you to all of you in GJ's Grade 10 Biology class who put up with my nerdy nusings!   Duke of Edinburge's Award trips, my first Summer job as an actor in Salutes to Victory at Th'Yarc; Daylian Cain - who turned me down for the 1988 Prom on the principal that he already turned someone else down because he didn't want to pay for the tux - Who needs a tux Daylian? LOL!
Friends that I may be looking to reconnect with-  Shelly (Maybe) LaPointe.  There are so many of you that I was aquainted with.  I was a bit of a loner back then.  Please feel free to touch base - anyone.
Information that I would like to share-  I actually graduated from Prince Andrew High School in Dartmouth, although went to Yarmouth for grades 10 & 12.  Went to SMU and did Biology and Chemistry for a year; played women's varsity basketball with Allison Cushing on the team.  Transfered to Acadian and graduated with a BA in Theatre - Liette Legere and I shared the spot-light in "The House of Banarda Alba."  Travelled with a youth ministry team in the US for a year - almost became a nun in 1995 with the monks from Nova Nada.  Was a Youth Minister at Saint John Vianney Church in Lower Sackville for three years.  Acted at Grafton Street Dinner Theatre and Neptune Theatre in Halifax.  Currently lead a band for a Youth Ministry in Halifax, work in Administration at SimplexGrinnell in Dartmouth and am building an internet based business on the side.  Future plans are to retire from my day job and persue singing, song-writing and acting full time. I was the small blurb on the upper right hand side of the screen in "K-19 - The Widow Maker," and yes, I did see Harrison Ford and Liam Neeson up close. I would like to get married in the next three years and have a family. You can hear my voice on TV in the Mic Mac Mall commercial. On the tag line I say, "You're brand of shopping, Mic Mac Mall." And now, "Mic Mac, The Most Mall." Life has been hard but good. I think that is the way it's supposed to be. Reach for your dreams. They are worthy and so are you. Seek the Lord. Information that I would like to share-  I joined the CF just afer I graduated as a Tanker and completed battleschool. I was posted to Lahr, Germany with the 8th Candian Hussars in the tank squadron and RECCE squadron. I met my wife there and got married in Europe. After Germany closed, I was posted to the battle school in Gagetown,NB as staff. In 2001, I changed trades to Electrical Engineer at CFSME in Gagetown. I was then posted to CFB Cold Lake,AB. I was deployed to Hickam AFB in Hawaii, and New Orleans NAS in LA. I have been reciently tasked with a tour to the Golan Heights with the UN in Israel/Syria. On completion of that tour I was posted to Comox, BC and have just recently returned safely from Kandahar, Afghanistan. I am now living happily with my wife and children ( Jay(m)8, and Maddie(f)6)on Vancouver Island waiting for my next overseas tasking. Keep in touch.

I have stayed home with them and run an in-home daycare. I stay in touch with my girls, Ann, Jill and Lisa. Information that I would like to share-  I really enjoyed the 3 years at high school.  I made new friends. I see people who were a grade or 2 ahead of me or people who I graduated with and still enjoy talking to them. Some people have kids the same age as mine so we meet again through are kids,it's really nice to see them again.
